NRL Auckland Nines – got your accommodation sorted?
Thursday, 28 January 2016 by Mark Sandiford
One of the biggest parties of the year is coming to Auckland on
the 6th and 7th of February - the NRL Auckland Nines.
For two full days over
Waitangi Weekend, the NRL Auckland Nines will be the place to be.
Rugby supporters and party goers will flock to Eden
Park for the nine-per-side
tournament to see 31 action-packed games alongside like-minded
fans.
For an event this big,
finding accommodation in the heart of the city is essential to
having the best time you and your group possibly can. The ability
to walk to and from the venue is invaluable and it's the best way
to ensure a safe base once you're finished having a fantastic
time.
The last thing you want to worry about at the end of a big day
is how long the bus ride will take to get home. Fortunately, accommodation doesn't get more central
than at the
Kiwi International Hotel.
With only a short taxi ride or half-hour walk, you can arrive
back at your base with plenty of time to explore the city and all
it has to offer.

Australia and New Zealand will battle it out head to head
We all love a good battle with our friendly neighbour across the
ditch and there's no better way than watching the teams knock each
other out one by one to compete for the 2016 title. 4
The
official tournament draw has now been released so we can
see which teams will take each other on in the early games of the
tournament.
The NRL Auckland Nines is
full of quick plays and thrilling tries. And as the final game
draws near, the heat will be turned up even more.
At 6:40pm on Sunday 7
February the 31st and final game will be played. So who will be
crowned 2016's winning team?

A few exciting changes will make it even better
When the fans spoke, the organisers listened and many of the
changes to this year's NRL Auckland Nines have been driven by fan
suggestions. You will not only enjoy better ticket prices, you will
also be offered a better selection of beer. 2016 will not
dissapoint!
This year you will be
offered:
-
Ticket prices will be lower
-
Fans can purchase single tickets for each day
-
A better beer selection
-
Fans can watch teams warm up on the side line
It's great to know that the opinion of fans have so much
value!
Giving back to the community is something the teams take
seriously. So this year, they will also be visiting junior
clubs.

Costumes are all part of the fun
If there's anything the NRL Auckland Nines are known for, it's
the long-standing costume tradition. The creative
costumes are a high point
for fans. Group by group they appear adorning their imaginative
outfits that they are likely to having been planning all
year.
Looking around the stadium
at the thousands of colourful and passionate fans is a wonderful
experience. The effort they have put into their costumes help to
create the fantastic atmosphere at the NRL Auckland
Nines.
It's a competition of sorts,
particularly because many fans will try to outdo their efforts of
the previous year. Coming up wiht the most whacky and original idea
takes a lot of planning but it's worth it when fans see the lengths
each other have gone to in order to stand out!
There is plenty of prize
money to be had and although it's not compulsory, it's great fun to
get involved.
